Cultural Prompt: “Learning to tame your grays between the dark and the fake…”
Capricious Grey
Days When the Skylight Blends

There are days when the skylight blends into the grey-toned white walls and the world comes crashing down and darkens but does not dispirit as I need only bide my time for the hours of uplift and bright to reappear when the blues and whites re-conquer and clear the grey to make room for the light And then days when the blue and white so clear and lustrous, behind my back, become again the grey and overcast lavishing showers to slither down the slanted glass vacillating between heavy and light and I think — just as well I didn’t venture out — but then within a flash, grey clears and the sun appears coaxing me with a wink and a nudge urging me to make a dash for it and budge
