8 tiny insights from an insomniac

#1
Pain needs our presence, so we can find comfort. Pain without presence — is suffering.

I like the notion, there is truth and greater truth. How can something be more true? Maybe in its relevance to our lives and the depth to which it resonates.
My night-brain came up with this example. Two statements —
- I am a woman
- I am human
Both are true. One denotes difference. The other, similarity. Which is more true?
Without context, neither. Does that make context a qualifier of truth?

#3
Can’t stop thinking about the nature of truth now.

I’m enjoying the fact my periods have decided to sync with the first of the month lately — it’s a tidy sort of synchronicity.
I take ‘the wins’ where I can.
#7
It’s amazing how much clearing physical space, can free up mental space. I’m on a selling spree.
#8
I’m taking my joy in the tiny moments these days. Today it was spying the buzzard holding steady in the wind, above the dreary roundabout. I admired the animal for its mastery of the air.
We share a resource, yet how artfully they spend theirs.
