Candy Buttons
The Six-Word Photo Story Summer Challenge
The worst candy of my childhood.
Backstory
About 30 miles from my home, you will find Minnesota’s Largest Candy store in Jordan, Minnesota. You will find every candy from the United States and all over the world.
This package of Candy Buttons transported me straight to my childhood. I can still taste the nothingness of this candy with pieces of paper stuck to the bottom. I should have just eaten the paper, it was probably better tasting.
But I did love those Chunky candy bars.
Does anyone else remember these “candies?” (I use the term loosely).
My husband said he never had them. I can’t remember when or why I got these horrible things.
My real question is why would anyone buy them now? And how long have they’ve been sitting there on that shelf?
If you enjoy them, sorry if I’ve offended you.
