Candace Owens Is A Republican Political Commentator

Although many people likely have never heard of Candace Owens, she is known in conservative circles as a political commentator, author, and television presenter. She has been outspoken on conservative views on various social and political issues. She supports Trump.

Owens is a Black woman who was born in New York. She has been critical of the Black Lives Matter Movement and the Democratic Party. She has been supported by conservative groups, but one organization has recently decided against continuing that support.

The David Horowitz Freedom Center, a conservative organization that initially supported Candace Owens, has released a statement distancing itself from her.

They expressed regret for propelling Owens to fame, criticizing her for false claims about Israel and her focus on personal fame over meaningful activism.

The organization condemned her remarks as ignorant and morally obtuse, expressing disappointment and stating they will continue to support activists committed to freedom and human life.

Owens was little known six years ago when the David Horowitz Freedom Center invited her to its annual Restoration Weekend gathering of conservative movers and shakers. The organization promoted her and honored her with an award.

They put out this statement: “The David Horowitz Freedom Center wishes to express its deep disappointment with Candace’s ignorant, hateful and morally obtuse remarks about Israel and the Jews. But, of course, it’s not just about the Jews. The Jews are the canaries in the mine. The West is next and America above all.”

David Joel Horowitz is an 84-year-old American conservative writer and activist. He was born in Queens, New York City, and is the son of Jewish high school teachers. He was an adherent of the New Left from 1956 to 1975. He later rejected progressive ideas and defended neoconservatism. He is the founder and president of the right-wing David Horowitz Freedom Center.

Owens has made comments on Israel which have caused her to lose favor with the David Horowitz Freedom Center.
