Canada Has an Anti-Mask Karen Too: She Has a 195 IQ and 13 Psychology Degrees

Expecting people to be smart is a waste of time. The pandemic showed very clearly that our world is full of uneducated selfish people who put their comfort over the lives of others. We all see members of our community who refuse to wear masks and gloves, citing medical reasons or bringing up the Constitution — as if they ever read it.
Unfortunately, Canada is no different. In recent days, a number of anti-mass protests happened all over the country. I wish the residents of the French city Montreal focused on improving their baguette-baking skills as opposed to protesting, and that no one would yell at the innocent grocery store staff in Toronto’s suburbs.
One very active Karen became somewhat of a celebrity in Canada recently thanks to her rant during an anti-mask protest in Toronto. The woman stated that people who agreed to wear masks are similar to those who “walked Jews into the gas tanks” (a direct quote). Let’s ignore the fact that she mistook gas chambers for gas tanks — what is a gas tank anyway? The lady showed no knowledge of science, coronavirus or Epidemiology, being unable to answer simple questions about the way the virus is spreading. But Karen accomplished her lifetime goal: becoming famous on the Internet! And Canada is having a laugh.

Canadians are Nice, but Not That Nice
Canadians are extremely nice. Even when we’re not, we have the responsibility of pretending to be nice to people. But sometimes, I wish we were meaner and more ruthless — for example when deciding not to fine people for not wearing protective gear during a global pandemic. In my opinion, the government should be stricter when it comes to fines because this is the only way people are going to learn. If the perspective of getting sick and dying doesn’t scare Karens, maybe the loss of money would.
In Canada, we forgive people for many mistakes. Even during the coronavirus pandemic, we are quite understandable towards people who refuse to take the situation seriously or educate themselves. I, personally, don’t even respond to people who still claim the virus is a hoax. Nevertheless, it’s enjoyable for our nation to observe a small army of Karens. But we’re nice! We hope Karens aren’t going to get sick, so they can live through the pandemic and tell everyone ten years from now how the government lied to them about the coronavirus.
The Video Karen is a Superstar Now
The Karen video has been shared among Canadians a lot, and the media outlets showed the woman some love too. After all, how often do you meet someone who is like an indigo child? Let’s highlight Karen’s talents:
- She has an IQ of 195. We can totally see that, based on her knowledge about Epidemiology and refusal to accept the existence of the global pandemic. Karen’s decision to not wear a mask and participate in an anti-mask protest is indicative of her intelligence as well.
- She has 13 degrees in psychology. Karen should apply for the Guinness World Record because she might be the only person in the entire world to hold 13 degrees in one subject. If we watch the video again and analyze her interaction with the crowd, it’s evident Karen is very skillful when it comes to interacting with other people — a true psychologist!
- She is a member of MENSA, which is an organization for individuals with high IQ. I don’t want to comment on this non-profit, especially since people have mixed feelings about MENSA. But Karen definitely showed a high IQ and humbleness about her exceptional intelligence.
I cannot imagine kids saying they want to be like this Karen when they grow up. The main goal right now is to ensure that everyone, including Canadians, is invested in battling the coronavirus. Karens can keep protesting as much as they want.
Canada is Doing Okay, Despite Karens
Compared to the United States, Canada is doing relatively well pandemic-wise. The statistics show that we were able to curb the virus for now, although areas like Toronto show higher numbers. As long as anti-maskers don’t attract too much attention and don’t gain following, the country has a good chance of pulling through these challenging times.
Canadians are morally supporting our southern neighbours. We hope that Americans will show progress soon and also get through the pandemic. Evidently, you can find Karens everywhere. And hey! Some of them have 13 degrees.
