All of those listed have read several of my published works, clapped, commented, and even sent private notes to me about my writing. We have developed a Medium Kinship. Their support on Medium however is a very wonderful and fulfilling thing that I am humbled by. Again, thank you all for being a fan of my fiction writing and my tales of being a Father of six.

Now to the questions.

Can you really earn money writing on Medium? The answer is yes. Have I gotten wealthy? No. However, I have been paid a dollar amount from Medium every month since I first published a story on Medium. I am 55 years of age and until May of 2020, I had earned a grand total of $0.00 from writing. That is not the case today. Again thank you so much to each and every one of you who have spent the time reading my work. I can not express just how awesome you are. Please continue to read and enjoy my stories here on Medium.

Is it worth the time writing on Medium? Well, this is a very odd question to me, but I believe I understand what folks are asking. Here is my answer. Are you a writer? If so, then writing anywhere is worth it. As a writer, the more you write the better at writing you become. So whatever motivates you to write more, is a worthwhile thing. Don’t you think? Medium has helped me set a writing schedule. I write every day now, I did not do that before joining Medium.

I look forward to writing on Monday. That is when I get a 100-word writing challenge from my friends at The Bad Influence.

I work toward a regular Real-Life Struggles article for my friends at This Shall Be Our Story.

Illumination so far has graciously published every Mr. Mason and the Adventures in The Grand Taosan Galactic Empire, story I have submitted to them.

to sum it up. If you are a writer, anything that motivates you to write is worth the time. Can you earn a living publishing your work on Medium? Well, that has not been my experience. However, I can tell you that when my fiction novels are completed and published and the earnings from them are in the Billions 🤑😎💰💸 💵, a very important piece of the puzzle that is leading to that success will be my involvement on Medium.

So sign-up, write, read, clap, write, and earn, but most of all enjoy the hell out of what you do every day. Life is too short to not be enjoying what you do.

Thanks, take care. For those who are interested.
<d
