Can You Part with Personal Wheels? Any Ingenious Ideas?

old crap renewed rant

What's wrong with Americans clutching personal vehicles rumbling in tattered space at ancient pace Parking snug to storefront while grumbling about fat bellies sitting Don't you see the world’s future cities Craze for clean efficient modes of moving you through air with fellow humans’ equal existence No need bragging of your outmoded transport the car And we say America is equal opportunities Wannabe cities chase this useless dream of personal cars Aghast! Wise cities plan ahead zooming carless while the US is still an IMPERIAL system Infrastructure antiquated Mass transit went undersea comfortably last century already No stopping it coast-to-coast ocean wise Imagine pristine steady timeless luxury no airport hassles no gas hike no DUI no traffic struggles no useless crap just moving you door-to-door Any ideas other than robbing oil in another country or driving up the heat? Boomers say not going to happen One can dream, right?

No politics. Just open minds. THE LINE, a carbon neutral concept. A vertical, carless, walkable city. And yes, you can still enjoy slow moments, trees, and the sky. And speed. Watch the full documentary. Worth every minute.

You know what? Perhaps it’s a time when poets can help. We need the poets. (Antoni Vives. THE LINE)
