Summary

The article discusses the importance of recognizing the inherent divine consciousness in individuals, rather than judging them by their outward appearance or status, using the example of Cristiano Ronaldo in disguise to illustrate this point.

Abstract

The article emphasizes the varying levels of understanding people have when interacting with others. It uses the example of Cristiano Ronaldo disguising himself as a homeless person to play football on the street, highlighting how most people overlooked him due to his appearance. Only a few individuals appreciated his talent without knowing his identity, and their appreciation magnified upon discovering his true identity. This analogy serves to illustrate that people who judge others solely by external factors like appearance or status may miss out on recognizing their true worth and may harbor more frequent feelings of hatred. In contrast, those who can see beyond the superficial to the divine consciousness within each person are less likely to feel hatred and can appreciate others more deeply. The article concludes by encouraging readers to strive for a higher level of understanding where they can recognize the divine nature in everyone, thereby fostering unconditional love and appreciation for others regardless of external circumstances.

Opinions

  • Judging individuals based on appearance or status can lead to a shallow life filled with hatred.
  • Appreciating others for their talent and character is a higher level of understanding than judging by appearances.
  • Recognizing the divine consciousness in every person allows for a life free from hatred and filled with appreciation for the true essence of others.
  • The story of Cristiano Ronaldo in disguise is an analogy for understanding different levels of human consciousness and appreciation.
  • There is a significant difference in the level of appreciation between those who see the divine nature in others and those who are impressed merely by talent or celebrity status.
  • The example of Cristiano Ronaldo has a flaw in that it implies his celebrity status warrants more appreciation than others, which contradicts the idea of seeing everyone as a manifestation of divine consciousness.
  • The highest level of understanding is when one appreciates others solely for their divine nature, rendering distinctions like celebrity status meaningless.

Can You Look at the Real Person Behind the Disguise?

If you can then you save yourself from feeling hatred against him.

We all look at things with different levels of understanding. Some may look at a person and judge him based on his appearance while others may judge based on talent and character. Then there are select few who look at the person as a manifestation of divine consciousness and do not judge the person at all. One has to traverse a long path of self-growth to reach this level of being.

Cristiano Ronaldo in disguise

Recently I was going through a video where Cristiano Ronaldo disguised himself as a homeless person and played football on the street. Most people judged him based on his appearance and simply ignored him. But there were few who do not judge a person based on outer appearance and stopped to see him do tricks with the football.

Thus, people working from a lower center of consciousness may lose out on seeing the beauty in some scenarios, and sometimes it could include missing out on Cristiano Ronaldo.

People who appreciated the technique involving football by the disguised Cristiano Ronaldo still didn’t feel the awe until he removed his disguise and showed his true self. It was only when they came to know that the person doing tricks with football was a celebrity that they became ecstatic and praised him profusely. The appreciation simply got multiplied by a large factor.

Understanding the analogy

The case of Cristiano Ronaldo can be used to understand the level of understanding with which people work. Some people only look at the person based on his appearance and make judgments. These people shall have feelings of hatred more often and will live a shallow life. Then there are few who are not biased by the outward appearance and appreciate the person for his talent. They are analogous to the people who stopped by to see the disguised Cristiano Ronaldo play with a football.

Beyond these groups of people, there might have been few who could see the real Cristiano Ronaldo. They would have a feeling of awe and excitement all throughout the incident.

Divine consciousness is the real Cristiano Ronaldo. It is there in everyone but only a select few could see it. People working at this level of understanding can actually see the real beauty and never have hatred against anyone.

There is a subtle difference between people who appreciated disguised Christiano Ronaldo versus those who knew the person behind the disguise.

“People who could see through the disguise had a much higher level of appreciation.”

Similarly, the level of appreciation shall be much more in a person who could consider others as a manifestation of divine consciousness versus those who just look at parameters like talent, etc.

An inherent flaw in the example

The previous example had an inherent flaw that it considered Christiano Ronaldo as supreme and worthy of appreciation more than others. But it was mainly taken as an analogy to compare him with divine consciousness.

The example would be appreciated by those who still haven’t reached the highest level of understanding. Once a person starts appreciating others for their divine nature, the example explained earlier shall seem meaningless. They would not comprehend as to why there existed a feeling of ecstasy when the disguise was removed.

Conclusion

People perceive others with a different level of understanding. Some may be biased based upon the religion, economic status, etc of the other person while others might consider the talent and character to appreciate the person. There are a select few who actually look beyond all these parameters and see the real source behind the person. They indeed are the ones who are unmoved by any disdainful acts of others and love them for their true nature. Such people are rare but I believe we should traverse the path of self-growth to reach that level in our lifetime.
