Can We Re-Unite The States?

Dear Friends and Family,

Following a closely held and widely disputed election, the days to come will be noisy, chaotic, and full of stress. The results will have repercussions for years to come. No matter your age, race, religion, political affiliation, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or identity.

Have no doubt — This will affect us all.

I am not here to voice a political or religious opinion. I am here as a human being reaching out to my fellow Americans and beyond, regardless of your mother country. I am reaching out across the globe, to you, at a time of great unrest to remind you of what is seemingly being lost in our species. Lost at a time when it is needed most. The only thing which can and will unite us again:

Love.

Today is a wonderful opportunity to show Love, Grace, and Acceptance to the many people who are no doubt, feeling isolated, defensive, and lost. People will unconsciously attempt to pull you into whatever elevated madness the day (and weeks) may bring.

Do not engage.

Be cautious, be wise, and most importantly: Be patient. Stand strong and focus on what is most important. Your dreams, your goals, and each other.

Know that if we are to move forward, we must weather this storm together — as brother and sister.

Be safe and know that you are Loved.

If by no one else than myself: You are loved.

9: Anyone who claims to be in the light but hates a brother or a sister is still in the darkness.

10: Whoever loves their brother and sister lives in the light, and there is nothing in them to make them stumble.

11: But whoever hates a brother or sister is in the darkness and walks around in the darkness; they do not know where they are going, because the darkness has blinded them. — 1 John 2: 9–11

There is much blindness as we will surely see in the days, weeks, and months to come.

Be a beacon.

Be safe and know that you are Loved.
