Can Someone Explain The MPP To Me?
I have 1,000 followers, hundreds of views, dozens of reads, and yet I don’t make any money.
To date, I have 1030 followers and last month I made $4.43 in story earnings. Does this mean that none of my followers read my articles? If that's the case, why follow me? I would rather have 100 followers who actually read my work than 1,000 who don’t read me at all.
It’s Not About the Money
I guess it seems like it though, huh? I just don’t understand, My stories are getting viewed…
And they’re also getting read…
So why am I not getting paid for the reads? According to the payout chart, I only have a few views…
I genuinely wish someone could explain this to me. I’m not a very tech-savvy guy so I don’t know where to look for answers. I’m not going to lie, I am working my hardest to become a professional writer, but I have come to the realization that I am probably going to make any money on Medium, and that’s ok. I’ve got a new podcast…

I Guess I’ll Just Keep Writing for Myself
I’ve been writing only for myself for so long that I guess the Universe has decided to run with that theme. For those of you who do read my work I genuinely love and appreciate you.
