I was reading an article this morning that proves that what we been doing at Dancing Elephants Press is great for our well being. I am happy to report that what we have known is good for us — spreading gratitude, positivity , love and kindness- now is scientifically proven to be good for us.

Spreading small acts of kindness in the world is bringing joy into our lives. In the article below by NPR a current ongoing study is described.

No matter how small the kindness act is…it matters. Every small action counts bringing joy into our lives. The article describes scheduling “micro -acts” from the Big Joy Project.

The BIG JOY Project | Greater Good in Action (berkeley.edu)

You can sign up for this project still and participate in their research. I highly encourage everyone to do so. The first exercise is listening to laughter. It is a lot of fun. I believe research like this is important to show how much we need positivity and joy in our lives to improve health and well being.

Currently 200 countries and 70,000 people are participating in this experiment. Each and every person counts and every micro act of kindness counts in this world.

Dancing Elephants Press had a call to action in October for our birthday month.

Thank you for all of the amazing writers who answered. This call to action is open and continuous. Please let us know what acts of kindness you practice to help create a positive impact on this world.
