Can One Afford to Take A Break from Work?
Entrepreneurial tips on how to stay focused and prevent burnout
Hustle hustle hustle.
I went through a phase of my earlier entrepreneurial journey where I was into this hustle business. I get tired just thinking about it now. When I see those styles of posts on Instagram I can remember those days — I suppose it was kind of exciting along with a lot of caffeine and little sleep.
When we look at what other entrepreneurs do it can cause a lot of anxiety, stress, and confusion, not to mention the loss of focus.
Also bear in mind that what you see when you look at all the hotshot entrepreneurs is not how it really is when you pull the curtain.
I know this for two reasons. I work with top entrepreneurs and I also understand how social media and marketing are put together when it comes to these big accounts.
What I have found as an entrepreneur is that the magic truly happens when we let go.
No amount of action, no amount of effort, can trump the leverage of divine timing.
It really does not matter what the so-called competition does, only to you, if you choose to see it that way.
We are the creators of our realities, i.e. if we BELIEVE that the competition will double their income on the day that we take off over a weekend, then it is most likely we will give them some extra points on the energetic score.
That is why it is so important that we tend to our own life and vibration and our own beliefs about whatever we are doing in our business and life.
Start here:
Set boundaries for yourself
Be conscious of your beliefs
Back your beliefs by emotion and action
Stop caring about competition, it is the biggest illusion of all
Focus on your purpose
Don’t be a sheep
Conclusion
So much time is being wasted looking at what others do. I see this all the time and on my earlier journey as an entrepreneur, I was doing the same.
It not only wastes your time it also confuses you about your purpose, distracts you, and causes unnecessary anxiety and stress.
If you want to build something of value, then you best start with yourself and work on your focus.
Where focus goes, energy flows.
