Can music has power of healing?

In my childhood I used to stay in my grandparents house. At that time tape recorder/ audio is one source of entertainment. One day my grand pa brought Lavakusa movie audio in three volumes.

All the family members together listened to the complete story. Each volume takes 1 HR . Lavakusa movie is first full length colour cinema of Telugu (my native language). Which is released in the year 1963. The story, songs and Sanskrit poems in the move are mesmerizing. By listening continuously I became big fan of that movie. I am little crazy of that audio cassettes. I listened them so many times such that the dialogues, songs are on the tip of my tongue. In my childhood I didn’t get chance to watch that movie on screen. Vacation is over and Iam back to my place. After few days I got fever which is not controlled even after the treatment by a local doctor, and I used to talk unconsciously about the movie/ songs of lavakusa movie.

Terrified by my situation my mom thought of sending some one to get the audio cassettes from my grand pa village. No proper transportation at that time. The person by walk, he brought the cassettes.

She made me to listen the cassettes and she used to pray continuously for my betterment.

Like a magic the fever is controlled in two days. My mom believed that because of mental peace obtained with the music, my fever come down slowly.

In few research studies shows that, songs associated with strong memories can activate pleasure Centre in brain and it will be a reason for healing.

Sometimes trust towards our belief can cause miracles.
