Can I See the Forest for the Trees

I Beg You Please

I was walking through a forest

Suddenly I was lost

All those around me could see

Everybody, not me

Life is not always as easy as it seems

Like the night I see blackness in my dreams

I won’t let the darkness take over

Life is too short

I’m not making it shorter

The rays of sun wash over my body

I hear the river

The flow is the key

I follow this beautiful rapid of water

As I walk the path I see the beauty of Our Father

The Creator saw I was sinking

Yes it was the Kool-Aid I was drinking

As I walk out of the forest leaves

I say to myself

I can see the forest for the trees
