Can I Call Myself Spiritual Being?
As I know my inner self
I am a modern spiritual being — who has the power to influence others, who can hold on the things, and can do whatever needs.
I am a modern spiritual being — as I know the deepest values of life. I know the darkest inner self — whom I meet daily and get a different experience.
I call myself a modern spiritual being — because a modern spiritual man does care for others, contain sympathy and empathy for others, and give value to others.
In the modern age, spirituality does not belong to religious values only. It has expanded its roots to individual life. First, people use religious beliefs to call themselves spiritual. Religion provides them with a complete code of life. By fulfilling the code, they become spiritual. The religious guidelines lead them to the roads of human values. It made them selfless characters. They try to put goodness in every situation.
Now, an individual is calling himself because he contains all the elements of spirituality like knowing the inner self, aware of the unconscious, helping others, and controlling the desires. He has intuitive powers and uses this power to achieve the supreme level of humanity.
A modern spiritual being knows the essence of life, which is proving them the code of living. To know- the meaning of life, one should give some time and value to the self. He knows his determination power and holds a firm belief in the self.
The recent development in the age of spirituality reflects that one can be spiritual but not necessarily religious. According to one 2005 poll, about 24% of the United States population identifies itself as “spiritual but not religious”. It is because of the following the alternative ideas of different religions.
According to J.B. Schuurmans-Stekhoven, everything and anything that is good and virtuous is necessarily spiritual.
So let’s call ourselves spiritual by following the virtuous path and developing divinity in life.
