Can a Medium Writer Get Success without Curation?

You have heard that a medium writer can be successful only with curation.

It means, that when a writer publishes a story, the Medium team selects their piece to distribute further.
I confess that curation is not the only way to success at Medium. Medium writers get success without curation by following this strategy.
Dear Fellows, I am one of the writers who are struggling with curation. Now, I stop worrying about curation. My work experience at Medium changed my mind about curation. I learned that curation is not the only way to success. One can be successful in different ways.
Stop worrying about curation
Like every new writer, I read the stories about curation. I grasped by headings such as how to get curated- because I think curation is the only way to success. This curation game made me worried. I was becoming tense as no article is curated yet.
Now, I stop paying attention to these hustles. It was sucking my writing ability. I realized — I lost focus from writing. I could not sustain these anymore, so, — experimented with writing different things.
Results of different experiment
I write about life and life lessons stories in the form of poetry. The 4 to 6 minutes stories are related to life experiences, culture, and society.
I started publishing in different publications, which astonished me.
Do not worry — the published stories are not get curated, but gain more views than curated ones.
I start with the new publications to get more growth. I believe that grow along with a growing publication is easy as compared to the already grown publication.
Your story remains on the front page for a longer time. There is a chance that every recent visitor will look at your post. I started with startup publications to get exposure for a longer time.
There is another secret about new publications. Your story has a chance to be featured — which means more visibility for a longer time.
It is what I consider the other way to get success at — Medium. No doubt, every writer writes well, but non-curation makes you dull. So, I found another mode of being successful for non-curated stories.
If your story remains on the trending page of a publication, you can earn enough. It is what happened to me. I was worried about curation. When I saw the stories on the trending pages — I pointed out the difference. The trending story performed well for me.
Yesterday, I completed over 100 views with a good read ratio. It is unbelievable for new writers, but my trending stories are doing more than curated stories.
You can see, my non-curated story crossed 100 views, with a 72% read ratio, which means I am getting good money without curation. It is only because of remaining on the trending page. My other trending stories are going well.

I am happy about achieving this success. I not only got more views and a good read ratio, but also made some money. Now, I realize curation is not the only way to success.
You can be successful by writing well and standing on the trending page of the publication.
The curation makes you worried. It creates tension in your mind. So, new fellows stop thinking about curation as the only way to success.
My point is If I am making success at Medium without curation, then why don't you?
Change your mind and focus on the quality of writing.
Success is about your potentiality and courage to go far.
