I won’t bore you with the details of my coffee consumption today… Or maybe I’ll need to, just a tiny bit.

I took your advice and had my first meditation session in the morning. But I also tried something different today, as you’ll see.

Session #1

I had just jumped out of the shower, gotten ready to take on the day, and started my first meditation session.

I lay down, playing the fifth tape of the Hemi-Sync meditation. As we progress, the sessions are getting less guided, which will affect my meditations.

I go through the initial steps: the energy conversion box, the resa-tuning, and the affirmations. And I fall asleep… I later discovered that this is a common issue for beginners using Hemi-Sync.

I guess we’re not getting much from this session, so let’s move on. I did, however, find something useful today, so stay along.

The Energy Conversion Box

If you’re not familiar with Hemi-Sync, the energy conversion box is a visual box. You think of a big, heavy box in which you can place your worries and distractions.

Today, I found my ideal visualization of the box, which I’ll describe to you!

The box is a plain but super heavy metallic box. A construction crane holds the lid up. I imagine myself as a model figure and slowly place the parts of me into the creation. When I’m finished, all that remains is a small glowing green and blue energy ball (which just happens to coincide with my eye color). The rest of me is now stored in the create.

Since I also fell asleep in my last session, I thought I deserved a second try. So, after a lot of writing and caffeine, I decided to try one last time.

Session #2

I lay down and put on the first tape in the Hemi-Sync series. I need the guide there with me, keeping me awake.

I progress through the usual introductory part. And then it happens…

The Breakthrough

I close my eyes and drift away. But suddenly, I feel as though I’m awake. I’m still lying in the same position, but now my laptop rests on my chest. The whole experience was surreal; I can’t begin to explain it. It felt so real, but deep down, I knew that it wasn’t.
