What do people fear the most in 2020? The fear of the covid-19 disease, the fear of death, and the fear of money. If fear isn’t enough, we are also worried.

According to research, Coronavirus Has 60% of Americans Worried About Money — fool.com.

To dig deeper into those worries, The Ascent surveyed over 900 Americans to find out how the coronavirus is affecting their finances and how they feel about their current situation.

Like millions of people around the globe, I worry about money since the pandemic started. I lost my part-time job as a result of this ongoing crisis. I live on the generosity of family and friends. Being my mom’s caregiver this year, my mental health is challenged by both worry and stress. A big part of it, like 60% of Americans today, comes from my finances.

Worried about money? It’s not just you.

With no savings and the experience of job loss, I am in constant fear of money, of where to get the money to pay the bills. I deal with the uncertainties and challenges of this year each day.

With the stay-at-home orders, I found myself writing again. It all started when I got paid for an article I wrote years ago and received $1.41.

With writing, my anxiety has subsided. At the same time, I don’t worry as much about the future. I am careful how I spend my money and constantly fear not having enough money for tomorrow.

When I received an email from Facebook, I thought right away, is this a charge for Facebook ads? I know I haven’t been running any ads. As a content creator, I do Facebook ads to help spread my content on social media.

Even a simple email about money drives me to the edge of fear. I paused and read what the email is all about. It comes as a big surprise that Facebook is paying me $0.01 as a content creator. One of my videos on my Facebook page is getting views.

How can one cent make me so happy? Not only am I happy, but grateful? One cent, and I started to rethink my relationship with money. I can choose my attitude towards my own circumstance, like what Viktor Frankl said in his book, Man’s Search for Meaning;

Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms — to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.

Instead of fear, I choose happiness. Instead of worry, I choose gratitude. — Naff Beltran

Receive More Money With This Secret Japanese Technique — Vishen Lakhiani

I remember watching a Youtube video about Arigato, money. I have to watch it again to understand what this powerful Arigato Money Technique is all about.

In it, Mindvalley Founder Vishen Lakhiani talks about his ritual when he buys anything. He applies the Arigato Money Technique.

He learned it from Ken Honda, author of Happy Money. Ken is famous for being Japan’s biggest writer. He has written over 50 books. In one of his projects, he interviews 12,000 millionaires in Japan to understand how they think. Ken Fonda got to interview Wahei Takeda, the Japanese billionaire often known as the Warren Buffett of Japan.

When Takeda also shared the secret, the powerful Arigato Money Technique.

Arigato is thank you in Japanese, and the secret is, you show gratitude to money coming in and to money going out. Arigato in, arigato out.

Wahei told Ken that the most important thing that one can do every day, the thing that was responsible for him making billions of dollars is:

“Be thankful 1,000 times a day.”

I will be the first to admit. It is hard to be thankful during a pandemic. If I want my future to change, I have to choose a different path. To attract more money and unlock my hidden wealth, I have to apply the powerful Arigato Money Technique.

As Ken Honda said, Money should be like air, given at the right time, like air it is abundant. To put my trust in a friendly Universe, I need to stop worrying as the Universe will provide. Money isn’t the enemy or the monster. It is our friend and can bring us happiness if we don’t fear it.

With the $0.01 I received from Facebook, I am filled with gratitude. I also want to pass on what I learned from this experience and be a blessing to the next person, as we are all connected.

As the pandemic continues, small businesses need our help. We need to spend for them to survive. To support small businesses is a way of showing kindness when most of us feel we only need to protect ourselves and that we need to survive, and for us to survive, we need to save our money.

Money will not grow on trees. The money secret that will unlock your hidden wealth is not about getting rich. It is to be grateful. It is to learn not to fear money. It is to learn not to worry about how to make, earn, and get money.

As like the air you breathe, if you believe in a friendly Universe and provide you with all your needs, all you have to start doing now is to Arigato, money.
