Buy Me A Coffee Fact Or Fiction?

It all began on a beautiful, sunny day. I received a question from Sujit Chakraborty. As I thought about his question, I tried to come up with a quick response, but I couldn’t. So, I decided it would be easier and clearer to just write about it, so I did. (Link below)

I received views, claps and comments.

Even though I wrote an article, no one bought me a coffee.

I put the link at the end of the article. No one bought me a coffee.

I put the link at the bottom of each article. No one bought me a coffee.

I was about to write a sad article with a lot of crying and lying on the ground. Like this:

I clicked on an article with an interesting title. It was about someone buying him a coffee. His article intrigued me.

I thought about Inu’s article. “An anonymous person bought me a coffee.” He spoke of a “rewarding feeling.” They buy you a coffee because “they enjoy your (his) work.” Then he says, “While I was writing this post, another person bought me two coffees.”

AND…

I started seeing more and more articles talking about Buy Me A Coffee.

Inu Etc received coffees and wrote about it.

Mahnoor received coffees and wrote about it.

Zohvib received coffees and wrote about it.

Jwngsat Narzary received coffees and wrote about it.

Hilary Zeeuwen received coffees and wrote about it.

I finally said, I can’t take it anymore. Look at my face below:

I sent my email to Buy Me A Coffee, and I waited. Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Crickets. Weeks went by. It felt like an eternity. Some days, I paced back and forth, wondering if I would receive a response.

Researcher Father, Maz De Roxas, Black&Yellow and Laura Blackhurst also wrote very good articles. Laura Blackhurst wrote at the end of her article “I’d love to hear from those who have had experiences with Buy Me a Coffee. How have you found the platform so far?”
