A person without a personality

Every single opinion she had was based on a book

She only ever read one book

Just this one book

It has all the answers, she says

Non that made sense

All the reasons why

Non that felt right

So many judgments

Yet not the ones that matter

Vague lines you can twist into what you want to quench your thirst

So much love preaching

Never real love

Just conditional

But, what do you think? I ask

And again she points to the book

For who would she be without the book

Just someone without any opinions

Someone with no personality

An empty shell

Void of critical thinking

That parrots someone else’s thoughts
