FLORAL POETRY CHALLENGE FOR HOPE DAY 3

Busy Lizzie, Impatiens Walleriana

No Time To Waste

At the morning meeting, The impatient supervisor Hands out assignments and Firm words of encouragement.

Candy Box, Put your best leaf forward. That show-off garden gnome Must not outshine you today.

Electric Orange, Don’t be so touchy. No seeds shooting off In every direction.

Shady Lady, Yes, you there by the pond. Hold your head up. The forsythia is blocking your view.

Baby Scarlet, Please don’t cry. I know the big frog is scary. Bloom as hard as you can.

Now, everyone, do your best. We have a long day ahead. Remember Busy flowers are happy flowers.

Tapan Avasthi came up with a flower poetry prompt for the first week of July, to welcome the second half of 2020. Thanks to Arjan Tupan for beginning the challenge. #floralweek
