Without breaks

Question: “How many hours do you usually work?” Answer: “I don’t work.” Question: “How do you support yourself, then?” Answer: “Quite comfortably.” Question: “It must be so stressful for you these days? Answer: “Yes. I’m worried about the longevity of the pandemic. Question: “You should take some time off to relax? Answer: “I don’t see the need.” Question: “Why? Don’t you want to maintain a work-life balance? Answer: “I do. That’s the philosophy of my life. I’ve never worked in my life.” Question: “You’re so lucky. If you don’t mind us asking, we thought you were a teacher, writer, editor, and also volunteer.” Answer: “I do all the above and mostly without breaks.” Question: “So you never feel tired of doing all these things? Don’t you want a break sometimes?” Answer: “Never. How can one get tired of life?” Question: “It seems odd to me. I want to take vacations every six months to re-energize myself?” Answer: “My life is a constant source of energy and inspiration.” Question: “Maybe I should search for a profession that would be my calling? Answer: “Wonderful idea. Then, like me, you’ll never feel overworked, underappreciated, or unmotivated because you’ll not be working but living a purposeful life without regrets.
