Burnt Sweet
A different recipe for each day in life.

She started with love… a pretty generous amount, then blended it in with much warmth and laughter, adding Happy Memories so that later they’d recount, someday… when they could last forever thereafter. She didn’t forget to add the flavor- be patient, especially for times & days when things went wrong, but he in his bitter humourous style — so patent, always hurt her, her faith-so very deep and strong. She still beautifully garnished baking times for him to see, with sweetness endlessly showered on it lovingly to rest, but it always got burnt… as he never liked her recipe of dear hubby for being happy, keeping marriage at its best. She has now come to realize that her trials were all futile, for whenever she tried to make sweet-it ended up chewy meat, so she guessed now her recipe and she will step away for a while, leaving him to blend his own life, while she takes a back seat. She would then love to see… that what he baked, how it’ll be? glazed, burnt, half-done, fully set, complementing he, she or who? coz how it’s going to taste… bitter, sour, or sweet without a recipe, solely only depends on all this life’s proportion… nothing new.
