Favourite Dishes

At this bleak time of year in the Northern hemisphere of short, cold days, we all need a bit of good cheer to see us through to the Spring. My family have a game, possibly in slightly poor taste, of inventing novel alliterative dishes, based on local wildlife, which is ironic considering I am an aspiring vegan, but it keeps me out of trouble some of the time.

Examples might include sparrow samosas, squirrel soufflé, flambéed pheasant, hedgehog harissa, song-thrush surprise, badger bolognaise, or my favourite, bunny biryani.
