Build This 03 Uncommon Habits to Improve Your Life
2# Listen to instrumental music

What if I tell you these habits take no effort?
Building a habit is not a joke.
It takes a lot of hard work and consistency. Sometimes, it gets too hard that you want to escape from the process of it. But if I tell you some habits take almost no effort from you, will you believe me?
Yes, I am going to tell you about three uncommon but powerful habits that can benefit you in many ways. And there is no hard work involved. All you need is a mindset.
Trust me. It’s easy if you try.
1. Walk alone and see the world around you
Walking alone may seem a little weird to you. But this can change the way you see the world.
You don’t need to have a routine to do that because it’s not like your morning walk. Whenever you get time, walk alone, and look at the faces you encounter on your way.
If you walk along a street, you will find people from different professions walking, talking, smiling, arguing, going somewhere, sitting on a bench, negotiating with the shoppers, helping each other, or else.
See, observe, understand the world around you — how people are living their lives. Do they seem happy, sad, angry, tired, frustrated, revived? What do you think?
Try to put on their shoes in your imagination. Think about what your life would be if you were a different person.
Walking alone can be a great learning opportunity for you. And building this habit is easy.
Have a few minutes? Then, just hit the road and contemplate on the people and nature you see along the way.
2. Listen to instrumental music
Maybe you are not big a fan of instrumental music, but trust me, this habit will take you to heaven. You will feel relaxed and released from anxiety and depression.
Find out what musical instrument excites you the most. Is it the flute, tabla, sitar, piano, sarod, shehnai, violin, santoor, guitar, cello, or harp? It doesn’t matter whether you like eastern or western music.
I am a lover of piano, sitar, and violin. But I know nothing about music. I listen to be relaxed and rejuvenated.
Some of my favorite contemporary musicians are Yanni for piano, Anoushka Shankar for sitar, David Garrett for violin, and Hariprasad Chaurasia for flute.
You can listen to them, or you can create your favorite list surfing tons of amazing pieces available online.
Allowing instrumental music in your life, you will experience how the magic happens on earth. You can connect yourself to a higher state of mind.
Still not convinced? Okay, close your eyes and listen to the following piece of Yanni.
