Build Stamina Then Speed

Consistency should always be valued above speed when learning.

Learning a new skill isn’t a sprint it's a marathon. You must learn how to run at a reasonable pace without sacrificing stamina. The longer you go, the easier it gets.

· What are you going to do
· Start doing it
· Don’t at what others say

What are you going to do

If you don’t know what you will do, you are wasting time. Find something you love and want to do consistently every day. It also doesn’t have to be something you love, it could be a good habit that would benefit your life.

Here is a list of possible ideas:

These are a few of the many things you could do. Find it and grab it.

Start doing it

Once you find something your interested in. Pursue it, get started. I feel like getting started is the key to being more productive. When I say to myself “I will start working,” I will give myself a lousy answer. However, on that lucky day when I start working, I flow through the work like butter. It wasn’t as difficult or time-consuming as I anticipated.

Though for smaller tasks it is easier to get started it could still be applied to a big project. First, get to work, just do it, do it now.

Starting now is better than never starting and you never know where it will take you.

Get to work and keep going.

Once you get started on the big project, break it down. You can’t eat an apple whole, you need to cut it up. Find sub and sub projects of the sub projects. These small tasks can be completed it thirty minutes. Start them, and you will feel accomplishments. However, small, it is worth a lot.

Thirty minutes will turn into one hour, than two, than four, and the snowball will keep rolling.

Keep working on small manageable pieces that will compound over time. This is how big projects are broken down and finished in small time frames.

Don’t at what others say

Get started and keep going. The only thing that holds people back from working is self-doubt. The doubt that one will never succeed in a business or project. We all have it.

The ones that succeed are the ones that know how to overcome that doubt and persevere through it.

Everyone can say you just have to persevere, but how do you do it.

Forget your what others think. This can be accomplished by facing them up front. Discipline is slow jog, while motivation is a sprint. The more you get used to negative comments, the more you will succeed in what they don’t believe.

Others want you to fail because they can get ahead. Life is a competitition.

Life is a competitition of who can get through the pain that others can’t.

So keep working and don’t look at what others talk about you or what you do. We all want to do something, and we choose what to believe and we will succeed in what we want.

Keep working, get started and don’t look back.
