Buddha’s Diet: The Ancient Art of Losing Weight Without Losing Your Mind
A book by Tara Cottrell and Dan Zigmond

What a gorgeous book it was.
I happened to listen to it on the Audible app. That’s my new hobby, yeah listening to audiobooks and it is teaching me a lot about how to pay attention to the most crucial details in life.
It’s a book about raising yourself from that deep slumber of sleep that tells you to keep your eyes shut when it comes to healthy eating habits. Usually, when we say healthy eating, the people around us tend to mistake it for not eating or dieting habits. But that’s not the truth.
Healthy eating means teaching your mind and body and spirit to eat what’s right for your body and in how much quantity and at what specific time of the day. In the past 6 years, I have changed my eating habits a lot and I am not saying this to impress others, but I did that to improve myself and my way of living life.
In 2022, I myself discovered that it’s not right for me to eat a scoop of ice cream at night or evening so I take it for breakfast, and I limit my time in a week to sweets. It’s also not like I intend to follow the routine always. No, I have my days where I eat anything at any time, but it doesn’t take me long enough to get back to my routine. I am disciplined.
This book has encouraged me to start with a new habit of eating what’s appropriate and desired by my body once again. I will stick to it not for a day or months but for a lifetime. There will be weeks I will fall off the routine, but I know myself by now and I am superbly adamant to get back to what I truly believe in.
To the authors of this book, thank you for writing it, and to the person who recited it on Audible, you have a sweet and clear voice. Thank you too.
