Bring Your Beautiful Souls To My Ruinous Mindscape
Stay a while and we’ll take tea
Follow, follow Strings and arrows Down the hollow halls; Deny the end of day, Continue on Into tomorrow And tomorrow.
Follow those thoughts, Burrow on, Find threads: Dig deep, Search for roots, Travel far, Labyrinthine is my mind.
I search for horned Asterion, At play with his best girl - Winged and Dressed to party - Travelling together Through mental space (Closing chasms of time and place).
Within my head, A ruined cottage Filled with nooks, Stacked high with books And battered boxes: Filing cabinets Rusting and old.
No Mind Palace For my memory, No glitzy brand new library Yet filled To the brim, Much knowledge Held therein,
And below The maze-like structure, To lose oneself within; Carved from Limestone And marlstone, Like a Cretean lair.
