You can’t just ignore this, but you’re not stupid enough to start fighting these guys either.

Glancing around for options, your eyes settle on an abandoned glass bottle. You launch it over the heads of the distracted cops and it smashes loudly at the far end of the alley.

“What was that?”

They give the man one last kick before heading off to investigate the noise.

Seizing your chance, you lift the man to his feet and quickly help him back round the corner to the motel, relieved that there are still places around which won’t ask too many questions.
