London-headquartered BP (BP) is a global energy giant with vast operations spanning the length of the oil and gas supply chain. The company reported natural gas production of about 7.9 billion cubic feet per day in 2020.
BP operates major natural gas production sites around the globe, from the Americas to the Middle East to Southeast Asia. It also has substantial worldwide oil exploration and production operations, in addition to petrochemical, lubricant, and retail gasoline businesses.
The company had 2020 revenues of $183.5 billion and has a market capitalization of $82 billion.
#1 Gas is a resource
Gas is a resource, no matter how high the gas prices we all need gas. This is a reason why a gas company is a great investment. BP is not just any gas company is one of the top natural gas companies of the world. With gas prices rising is very important to invest in resources and in companies that can keep up with time. BP was founded in 1908 with the discovery of oil in Persia, their story has always been about transitions — from coal to oil, from oil to gas, from onshore to deep water, and now onwards towards a new mix of energy sources as the world moves into a lower carbon future. From the beginning BP has been able to adjust to times and willing to move forward and make the changes required to remain a top resource oil company.
#2 Variety
When I look into investing, I look into companies have variety not just with locations but with their products as well. BP’s brands include:
~BP- BP is the main global brand. It is the name that appears on production platforms, refineries, ships and corporate offices as well as on wind farms, research facilities and at retail service stations.
~CASTROL- Castrol lubricants for automobiles and motorbikes are trusted for their high performance and quality by manufacturers, drivers and riders. Castrol also makes lubricants for many other applications on land, sea and in the air.
~ARAL- Aral service station to fill up on Aral-branded fuels and lubricants, customers wash their vehicles, or buy high-quality food and drink on the go. Aral is Germany’s leading fuel brand marketer and the country’s third-largest fast-food retailer.
~AM/PM- AMPM is the highway retail-and-rest brand of choice for motorists. With around 950 outlets, many of which are attached to bp fuel stations, the brand is well known for the quality of its food and drinks offer.
~AMOCO- The 2017 reintroduction of Amoco as a retail brand alongside bp is taking place in US cities with potential additional growth opportunities.
~WILD BEAN CAFE- Wild Bean Cafe offers good food and high-quality coffee for motorists in the UK and mainland Europe, Australia, South Africa, China and Russia.

Locations are very important, Bp has both a variety of brands and locations which make me feel more secure on my investment. BP’s locations include:

#3 Ability to keep up with times
The companies I want to invest in long terms, must be able to adjust to times and have future plans to keep up with times. The world is full of change and being able to evolve for the better is a must. BP’s ambition is to be a net zero company by 2050 or sooner and to help the world get to net zero.
