Boys and Girls
And other separations
Boys, girls Friends, acquaintances Co-workers, enemies The space between people
Past, present And future relationships Are separated only By time
Right or left Top or bottom Are separated only By perspective
Happy or sad Victim or perpetrator Are only separated By mirrors
Good or bad Righteous or wrong Are only separated By adjectives
Us and them Them and us Are only separated By ‘and’
Replacing ‘and’ With ‘also’ Brings together that Which is ‘all’
Separations divide Combinations unite Words divide Feelings merge
When words fracture Love heals When love heals We are all one
