Boldness is Needed for Your Creativity to Blossom

In the past, I was too timid to share my thoughts with the world

It takes boldness to put your work out there for the world to see.

Often I don’t like hitting the publish button and wonder why am I doing this to myself?

Wouldn’t it be much easier not to share my thoughts? That’s what I did for years and it worked pretty well.

Or did it?

If I’m being honest, no it didn’t work very well because deep down I knew I was denying myself the joy of being creative.

On top of that, I also hid my faith. Only a few people knew about this part of me. I thought it was best to keep my spirituality private.

But then things started to change. After a lot of personal development and time with God, I developed the courage to share more.

But, the next thing I needed was boldness. If I was going to write from the heart, I would need boldness.

It’s one thing to write an article on a fairly general topic with a nice headline and image, but when it comes to being vulnerable it can be quite scary.

It takes boldness to write what’s in your soul. There is always that fear of rejection.

I don’t know if it will ever get easier bearing my soul or will I always need to pray for boldness to continue? Who knows?

But, if you are a new writer and you’re wondering what the secret to writing online is. I would say, first it is to have courage and then boldness.

Thank you for reading.
