December Six Word Photo Story Challenge: “Snow & White”

Colourful huts warm frozen ice fishermen.

When my kids were small, we used to take an annual ice-fishing trip to a small resort 90 minutes from Montréal. To be honest, we didn’t do a lot of ice-fishing, but we enjoyed the escape from the city for a weekend of food, fun and friends.

This is one of my favourite pictures from 13 years ago. It’s rather surreal knowing there is a lot of weight sitting on a frozen lake…!

This is my final submission ( I think!) for Mary Chang Story Writer’s December prompt. There have been lots of other writers who have joined in with their Snow & White pictures.
