Grit and grace beneath city skies, A daisy dares to rise. “Odd place for beauty,” a passerby muses, Yet, within its petals, a world of surprises.
“Look at me,” it seems to say, “I’ve found my sun, I’ve made my way.” No soil, no rain, will to live, In cracks and crevices, I forgive.
A child squats, eyes wide with wonder, “Flower, how do you thrive down under?” With a smile, she hears its silent reply, “Love and resilience, that’s how I fly.”
Through seasons of neglect, it stood, A beacon of hope in a neighbourhood. “Let me tell you,” it whispers to the breeze, “Life finds a way, it bends, it frees.”
Beneath the concrete, roots intertwine, Drawing strength from line to line. “See,” says the daisy to the moon’s soft glow, “In the hardest places, the strongest grow.”
A poet stumbles, lost in thought, Sees the daisy, feels its fought. “Here’s my muse,” he softly speaks, “In its struggle, a beauty peaks.”
So, here’s a lesson from a flower grown, In a place, it could have never known. Through cracks and hardship, it brings delight, A single daisy, shining bright.
“Remember me,” it calls to the night, A symbol of persistence, a beacon of light. In unlikely spots, love finds its way, Just like a daisy, in concrete grey.
The tale ends not with a fade, but a spark, For even in concrete, life leaves its mark. “Carry on,” the daisy seems to hum, “Where there’s will, a way will come.”
Each petal a story, each leaf a song, Of finding where you truly belong. Against all odds, in love’s embrace, A lone daisy finds its rightful place.
