Black & White

A Mandala in Artistic Colors

Black & White (Sept 10, 2020): illustration by Sneha Mankar

I loved a thousand colors, but still, be shading a pattern filled with the colors of conflict, for that mandala called a sacred circle circle in splattering black and white

‘coz in that circle of light, the universe is also an intricate circular pattern pondering expression of emotions, in the art to embrace the curves, that embodies the soul

with diving in the light of an enigmatic palette you'll find, there’s humanity, there’s hope in it and sometimes that life of light descends into death, other times into darkness

but what stays the same is the question of symbolization! is it the eternal human spirit that goes with white and the eternal afterlife that goes with black? or is it the other way around?

or I guess if it is a celestial process, from one of suffering to one of joy.

Footnote: I did this illustration of the Mandala Art a few months back. A Mandala (Sanskrit word meaning - circle) is a spiritual Asian art that basically, depicts the wholeness of the universe and holds great symbolism in Hindu and Buddhist cultures. It is to be said that drawing a Mandala is a great practice to achieve consciousness, patience, balance, and peace of mind.
