Birth Pains: A Mother’s Poetic Journey
Embracing Agony, Birthing Love
In the depths of agony and bliss, A mother’s journey begins like this. Beneath a veil of strength and grace, She embraces pain, her heart will race.
With every contraction, she bears the weight, Of bringing life into this world so great. Her body trembles, her spirit soars, As life unfolds through uncharted doors.
Each wave of pain, a testament true, To the love that within her grew. She breathes and moans, her spirit strong, Enduring the struggle, where she belongs.
Her cries echo through the hallowed hall, Yet, in her eyes, a love so tall. She labors on, with fierce devotion, For the gift of life, her heart’s emotion.
In her embrace, a miracle blooms, Through tears and sweat, her love consumes. The pain subsides, as her child arrives, And in that moment, her soul thrives.
For in her arms, a precious treasure, Born of her pain, a boundless pleasure. She forgets the anguish, the struggle, the strife, As she gazes upon her new life.
In her heart, a poem is etched, Of birth’s pain, she’ll never forget. But in its verses, a love so pure, A bond that nothing can obscure.
So let us honor the mothers bold, Whose bodies and souls were fiercely told, That from their pain, new life would spring, A testament to love’s enduring wing.
