If you’re feeling hopeless..keep on reading

With spike in COVID cases and unemployment rate climbing a new high, a lot of us are dealing with situations we never prepared ourselves for. No matter if you live in Boston or Bangalore, India, it is indeed an overwhelming time for all of us.

Nobody really knows when things are going to get back to normal.

In this post I talk about how we can still choose to take control of our lives. Little things make a big difference and if we focus on the silver lining of this pandemic, we get to chance to live through it and not just survive.

Pragmatic and rationalists may call hopefulness a waste of time. But nobody gets to tell us about how to live.

When we learn how to live life, life gets better.

We get prepared for the challenges that we think may occur and even for the unexpected ones. We consider the latter a blessing in disguise and keep doing what we need to.

This may sound too philosophical to some, but can you, for a minute, focus on all that you can be and all that you get be in the future.

There are so many books that are waiting for you to be read.

There are people waiting for you to post that video because maybe that’s the only motivation they have.

There’s still so much in your control than you know!

Can you think about the places that you need to visit before you live this beautiful planet for good?

Places that are waiting to welcome your footsteps. Places that you’d want to take your love and the places you want to go with your family and fill it with their giggles.

“Most of the important things in the world have been accomplished by people who have kept on trying when there seemed to be no hope at all.” – Dale Carnegie

There are so much that you need to experience in life.

And it doesn't need the pandemic to get over for you to START.

You can choose to experience it all today, from this very moment.

The problem with all of us is that we don’t focus on what we have today, we’re not mindful about our life. Most of us either focused on the tragedies of our pasts or anxious about our future.

All it takes to bring back that attentions and that consciousness back to this very moment is a song that touches your heart, a quote that doesn’t leave you for days or a dream that doesn’t let you sleep.

It’s all in the littles things that compounds into something BIG and significant.

If we live for these experiences, we’ll be happier and better. These experiences aren't controlled by the government or the pandemic, except the traveling part.

Other than travelling and socialising, you still get to read the book you’ve wanting to read since you were 9.

This is the time to work on your music album, your cookbook or your dream project.

This is the time to engage in deeper conversations with your spouse or perhaps a stranger over the internet.

Isn’t it an amazing feeling to know that you haven’t met someone who’s as intrigued by the world as you are?

This is the time we count our blessings.

This is the time we understand the philosophy of love.

This is the time we understand ourselves.

This is the time to share your stories with the world, exactly what I am doing here.

Blessed are they who see beautiful things in humble places where other people see nothing. -Camille Pissarro
