Better CEO Predicts President Biden Will Die of COVID and That Will Help His Failing Mortgage Startup

Recently Elon Musk tweeted, ‘What a d*ck move!’ when he learned that Bill Gates poured millions into a dark money fund attacking Elon Musk, but it was published on Breitbart, I will leave it at that.
I say that tweet can easily describe this CEO, remember him as the guy who fired 900 of his employees at a Zoom meeting?

Yes, the Better.com CEO is back with more controversy. He is being sued by a former employee who is seeking financial compensation after she was fired in February.
The case has been filed by Sarah Pierce, Better.com's former executive vice president at the U.S. District Court in the Southern District of New York
After she raised alarm bells regarding Vishal Garg’s allegedly misleading statements about the company’s prospects and performance. For which she shared her concerns with other executives, and then Garg fired her unceremoniously while she was on paid leave, just as he did with the 900 employees at a Zoom meeting.
In a report from SFGate, not only did Garg fire 900 employees but he went to Blind an anonymous professional platform where he accused the employees of stealing from his company which he later retracted.

What is baffling is at the time that before the mass firing he instructed Pierce to hire more people. Pierce was against his idea knowing that the company wasn’t doing as well as Garg was telling investors.
He “overruled Pierce,” claiming that the company’s sales “would increase because ‘President Biden will die of COVID,’” consequently causing interest rates to fall and “save the Company from its worsening financial condition.”
Yes, you read that right a CEO was hoping that a sitting US President dies of a disease that had already claimed millions of lives, only because in his mind if Joe Biden dies, interest rates will fall which will be great for his mortgage startup.

A Better.com lawyer said the claims were “without merit.” SoftBank (SFTBF) did not immediately reply to a request for comment. — CNN reports.

But Vishal Garg takes the cake, wishing someone to die much less the President of the United States so that his pending multi-billion-dollar merger with a SPAC will push through makes you wonder what he has learned as a young kid in India.
Money isn’t the root of all evil, but men do evil things with money.
