Best/Worst Advice
What advice have you received
The best advice I ever received was from BT.
I kept whining why do I have to do this? I don’t want to do this!
After listening to me complaining, BT said to me, out of frustration,
“Nicole shut the fuck up and do it because I said so.”
During the jobs that I have had over the years I still recall BT’s advice whenever I have a task that I don’t want to do. In my head I will hear BT say,
“Nicole shut the fuck up and do it because they said so.”
That is how I get through my day.
Thank you BT. Your advice has really helped. You will forever rock.
The worst advice I ever received was from SK.
It was about how I should apologize.
SK said, “You need to get down on your hands and knees and beg for forgiveness.”
I contemplated the advice for about a split second before the thought “fuck that shit” ran through my mind.
Not once have I or did I ever think that was good advice.
