Best Way to End This Year (According to Me)

Well, another year is about to end. Feeling old yet?

Do you feel time is moving fast? If so, I’m with ya.

On our way to becoming grannies.

What’s sad for me is that I’m about to turn 20, and I’m not really sure how to feel about it (but definitely, not good). I mean, my friends started to call me old grandpa.

Hmm, screw them. 😂🖕

Heh, what’s amazing is that I still remember that day when I told myself ‘Heh, it will be hella long before I turn 18,’ and now, well, you know..

>:/

Anyway, let’s not talk about my feelings cause we don’t care, instead, let’s talk about stuff that we care about, baby.

2023 is about to end. Well, sh**

Why do I still feel that the Covid era happened yesterday? I hate time.

Anyway, I personally believe that the last days before the new year are really important for us.

It is a perfect time to reflect on ourselves, to see our mistakes, how much we have grown, how many dreams we have achieved, and most importantly, how much we are really learning from our past every year.

While you might get distracted and not reflect on yourself because you want to have fun, self-improvement comes first no matter what (especially as a passionate writer). Change my mind if you can.

I know that I’ve grown a lot, and I also think pretty logically (at least when it comes to self-improvement). So in today’s article, I’m going to share with you the best things you can do to end this year.

Now you might find these tips from somewhere else; however, I’ll fully express my thoughts and talk about what I think is the best thing to do.

If you find another article that shares the same stuff, well, we think the same, so be quiet.

Keep Making Progress (and I don’t care if you don’t want to)

Just because you’ve made so much progress this year doesn’t mean you can stop and wait for next year. >:/

What da hail are yu duing? huh?

We never know when opportunities will hit the door. In fact, I had plans for the next year, but then I thought, “OK, why not now?”. So I started earlier, and guess what? I’ve made a lot of progress before the year ends.

While your brain might play tricks with you by saying, “I’ve done enough in this year”, NEVER IS NEVER.

Why not move even further when you can? Since when do we take breaks as big dreamers? HUH!?

Make New Plans That You Haven’t Tried

Yes, it is true that being consistent and sticking with one single plan is necessary, but new approaches are also important.

I believe taking a year should give you an idea of whether whatever you’re trying to do is worth giving another year or not, and you should have a statistic of your progress.

Also, if you remember, I said that I was never a fan of sticking with one business plan.

So if you can prepare yourself for the better, try at the latest another business model. Who knows, maybe if you have new plans, you’ll be a lot ahead next year?

Wish you the best!

Try Something Different Before Ending This Year

Maybe you were so focused on yourself that you haven’t tried something new this year.

Don’t worry, pal, I’m with you.

If you want to remember this year and want to end the best way possible, trying something different is the way to go. Believe me, I know what I’m talking about, baby!

I can give you some great choices:

- Going to a different country (of course, if you have money)

- Enjoy your morning at a bar (if you never tried)

- Hop on a train and go to another city

- Try to socialize (if you’re introverted)

- Going to a special restaurant

- I ran out of ideas

If you have even better plans, please let me know; I would love to try what you do. ^-^

Analyze Your Mistakes

While making mistakes is an important step to becoming successful, analyzing and understanding your mistakes is also equally important.

Because the truth is if you can’t learn from your mistakes, you can’t move forward.

I believe it is the right time to reflect and check all the mistakes that you’ve made and what you can do in order to not make the same mistake again next year.

This way, you’ll have a jump start and be prepared for 2024.

Lastly, It’s Totally OK If You Haven’t Achieved Your Goals This Year

We’ve been positive so far, but let’s get back to our reality because unfortunately, many of us have not achieved any goals, and they’re probably depressed.

Look, I understand you; I am in your shoes. While I did share with you that I’ve recently made great progress, they’re not life-changing.

It’s totally ok if you take your time to be sad.

However, what’s not ok if you stay sad or even lose motivation; nah bro now you’re moving wild.

Just because you failed this year doesn’t mean you won’t move ahead next year.

Here is what I want you to do:

- I want you to visit a place that makes you feel peace

- Deeply connect to yourself

- Don’t just think about your fails, think about what you achieved

- Learn your mistakes (as I mentioned before)

- Rise and be strong

- Improve your Mindset

- And wish you the best next year, pal

Remember, don’t let your past win over you; you’re clearly better than this. I’ll be waiting for your success stories.

In Conclusion

I’m not a big fan of having fun; however, I believe these steps are beneficial and quite fun.

If you want to do none of them, at least try to go to a place where it feels like success to you.

If you have a very unique way to end this year, PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

Until next time, champs!
