Best Business Ideas For Each MBTI Type
If you wanted to — what business would you start? The MBTI provides clues as to which areas are more of a natural habitat for you. In this article I’m listing up the best business ideas for each personality type.
I know, you’re much more than your MBTI type.
Yet here I am anyway, suggesting business ideas to each type, based on just their type.
Let me know if you agree with yours. Here we go:
ISTJ (The Logistician): Accounting Firm
ISTJs are great at organization, integrity, and practicality.
This makes them well-suited for accounting or financial consulting where these traits are valued and much needed.
ISFJ (The Defender): Senior Care Services
ISFJs have a nurturing and reliable nature, so they’d be awesome at running a business that cares for the elderly (or other living beings in need of care, such as animals).
Providing compassionate and dependable service will make the ISFJ and their surroundings happier and well cared for.
INFJ (The Advocate): Nonprofit Organization
INFJs are driven by making a positive impact.
Starting a nonprofit that aligns with their values would be fulfilling and effective for them.
INTJ (The Architect): Technology Consulting
INTJs are strategic, innovative thinkers.
A business in tech consulting would allow them to utilize their problem-solving skills and forward-thinking ideas.
ISTP (The Virtuoso): Custom Craftsmanship
ISTPs’ hands-on skills and creativity make them excellent at creating custom, high-quality products.
Whether it’s woodworking, metalworking, or any other craft, ISTP will likely be successful in crafts.
ISFP (The Adventurer): Artistic Boutique
ISFPs are artistic and adventurous.
A business that sells unique, artisanal products or offers creative services would be a great fit.
INFP (The Mediator): Independent Bookstore/Café
INFPs’ love for stories and quiet, reflective spaces makes a cozy bookstore or café a perfect business, possibly offering community events like readings or art shows.
INTP (The Logician): Tech Startup
INTPs are innovative and enjoy solving complex problems.
A tech startup, particularly in emerging fields like AI or blockchain, could be an exciting challenge for them.
ESTP (The Entrepreneur): Adventure Sports Company
ESTPs are energetic and love action.
A business in adventure sports or outdoor activities would suit their dynamic personality.
ESFP (The Entertainer): Event Planning Business
ESFPs are outgoing and love to bring people together, making them natural event planners, from parties to corporate events.
ENFP (The Campaigner): Creative Marketing Agency
ENFPs are imaginative and enthusiastic, perfect for a creative marketing agency that requires innovative campaigns and a dynamic approach.
ENTP (The Debater): Debate or Public Speaking Coaching
ENTPs are skilled at argumentation and public speaking.
They could excel in coaching others in these skills, from students to professionals.
ESTJ (The Executive): Management Consulting
ESTJs are organized, efficient, and authoritative.
This makes them well-suited for a consulting business that helps other companies improve their operations.
ESFJ (The Consul): Catering or Hospitality Business
ESFJs excel in roles where they can provide service and care for others, making a catering or hospitality business a great option.
ENFJ (The Protagonist): Life Coaching
ENFJs are empathetic and motivational.
A business in life coaching would allow them to help others achieve their personal and professional goals.
ENTJ (The Commander): Business Development Firm
ENTJs are strategic leaders with a clear vision.
A firm that focuses on business development and growth strategies would play to their strengths.
Of course we all have our individual passions, regardless of our types. So an ESTJ might as well be in gardening business. We’re strictly talking about tendencies.
