Best 5 Rules of IKIGAI Which Change My Life

For those who are familiar with what IKIGAI means, it is a word in Japanese that refers to a reason for being. Honestly until a while ago I had never heard of this term, but I started to study the rules for this IKIGAI and found them particularly interesting and applicable.
First of all the most important rule is live in the present. After all the past can never be changed, either with mistakes or good moments will never return. As for the future no one knows what it will be or if you will be. So live in the present, enjoy your family, friends, nature and don’t let yourself be charmed by the mirage of the future.
Secondly, smile more. Even though we all have hard times in life, the important thing is not to lose your smile. Attract equally positive people around you who will be able to help you get through the hard times more easily. We focus too much on work, money problems and forget to smile.
Thirdly a rule that has changed the way I eat. Never eat until you feel full. Stop somewhere around 80%, that way you won’t get hungry and force your body to work extra.
Fourth, reconnect with nature. Find a few hours on the weekend to simply walk through nature and see its beauty. This will relieve stress, give you a good feeling and you will be ready for a new week.
Lastly, follow your passion. I know it’s hard to make money from a passion but we are living in an extremely good time where you can monetize any passion. As is the case for those of us who write articles on Medium out of passion. Evolving every day will come the time when we quit the job we don’t love so much and just focus on our passion.
