Summarize

Bemused, Staring into Coffee Vortex.

Ideas in my head circle mind’s eye like vortex in my coffee.

Milk vortex in my coffee. No wonder I love black coffee! Picture by John Rose.

Saturday morning, Bemused by thoughts circling mind, Leaving me centre of vortex bereft of creative poetic ideas.

How to explain? How to describe vortex encircling me? Unthinkable thought, Take my black coffee, Gently stir, Drizzle milk to create vortex, Things we do, Things we sacrifice just for writing poetry!

It worked, Lovely vortex that spoiled my coffee, Carefully wash cup refill with wonderful delicious very black coffee.

Bemused, Trapped in idea vortex, Not really knowing what to write, Act of coffee desecration and writing confessional poem collapsed my inner vortex, Liberating thoughts from sublime to ridiculous mixed with Pythonesque risque themes.

Sipping delicious coffee, Thinking delicious naughty thoughts, Can’t conceive of anything more satisfying for relaxing Saturday morning’s writing.

Back to basics, Publish this black beauty and enjoy more black coffee.

Blessed be.
