There have been hundreds of stories about the love and compassion of a mother.

Mother is said to be another face of God.

God even proposes the name of mother where and whenever to demonstrate love.

In the holy book of Muslims God equates his love to seventy mothers. Such a Regard… such a dignity…, for a mother…no denial indeed.

Warmth of love a child finds in a mother’s lap is irreplaceable.

Talking about this divine mother-child relationship, we can’t ignore the God’s endowment in the form of a FATHER.

He is the one, who has the basic responsibility of earning in a family system.

Be warned here… he is not solely a money maker. He has lot more to do.

He is the King of the House domain, with his wife appointed as a Queen participating in all the matters of kingdom; and nurturing, growing, looking after, educating their offspring ( no matter prince or princess, or both).

Keeping a keen eye on all the aspects of family matters; and deciding why and what to do in the need of hour is another critical and tough job that a father usually does.

Starting even before the arrival of a child in the family…deciding the name, doing the hospital bills, looking after his childʼs mother (Queen), being awake at night for the kid along with mother, being panic for childʼs uneasiness, training for toddler activities, preschool learning, teaching etiquettes and manners, school admission, learning basics, teaching socialism, playing games, being friend to his children, listening to their problems, seeking for solutions, motivating them for dares, encouraging in tough times, to stand up after failures, educating them to be determined for success, being humble after victory, doing the right and avoiding the wrong deeds, following the righteous path …

All this is a must do short list of all the fathers.

It can extend beyond their career selection, helping to choose spouse till marriage.

And beware! It is not over yet. Praying for the children, seeing them happy in their lives with their families is all what fills pleasure in the heart of a father.

It is he, who spoon feds his children, while probably keeping him hungry.

Such a guardian angel, a protector, a safeguard an instructor, a coach, a friend, an advisor for the children, can nobody be, but a father.

Stay calm.

What is return for a father???

It is not one sided game, nor it has been. Like all other relations father deserves a lot more respect, honour, gratitude, love, affection and utmost care (when he is old and weak).

God says in Quran…

If either or both of them reach old age with you, say not “Fie” to them, nor chide them and speak to them a generous word.

God has promised heavens for a son if his father is happy with him.
