Posing Like A Muse

Writing is a practice of experimentation. It transforms the substance of what is seen and what has been written It speaks with the voice of possibility and patience The poet posing like a madonna to speak with the body language of a muse Writing is a spontaneous act of art and perception It is a process of transforming meaning through the invention of new and better words
To me, meaning derives from what I see and what I write The essence of the writing is found in its ability to express the nature of states of being: memory, dream, imagination, feeling, and aspiration. Posing like a muse is but a momentary glimpse of frozen time in the nature of things
The writing speaks with the voice of possibility, patience, and engagement He is not alone in his musing but is engaged in a conversation that he must listen to before he can speak When I write, I practice my awareness so that I may be more aware of meaning as it presents itself I listen and watch as words emerge on the page I see images, and they grow into what they are In this process, meaning emerges — where it has.

As the editor of The Power of Poetry, I know how difficult it may be to locate individuals who want to read poetry.
When we write, we might strive to perceive things from another person’s perspective. It’s a technique of demonstrating your abilities and thoughts. When we write, we express our emotions, ideas, and views. This allows us to reflect on what it means to be human. Writing may also help us discover purpose in our life by demonstrating how essential and necessary things are.
