Before You Realize Just How Powerful You Are

You will be tested

When life happens to us, it's easy to think we failed. You might feel weak and helpless thinking how did I get myself into this mess? Why did I do any of the things I did? Why didn't I just pay more attention?

The wound is the place where the light enters you- Rumi

But what if through the disappointment is how you realize just how powerful you can be? You might ask what power? I feel powerless. I feel out of control.

It’s ok to ask those questions. I did too. I did not know how powerful I was until I was betrayed. It was crystal clear to me that nobody was coming to save me. I needed to save myself. I needed to empower myself.

It Will Be Darkness

I write this to help you see the power that is already inside of you. How would I know? I know because I've been there. I've survived some dark times on my own journey. Everything was darkness and life made little sense.

I was crippled with regret. I wasn't blaming anyone but me for what happened. Everything was my fault.

I’d become so familiar with the dark. I’d held hands and danced with it. Without the dark, I would never have realized how powerful of a human being I am.

Just You And Your Shadow

It is a different kind of power when you are the one to pull yourself out of a rut. When you have no choice but to look at your shadow. When you look around and find that there is nobody there but you.

When it finally dawns on you that no one is coming to save you and you need to do it on your own. And when you do that, you gain a power that can never be taken away from you.

The wisdom and knowledge you gain are yours to keep and you never have to worry about losing.

You have no other options but to be there for yourself. To comfort yourself. To constantly remind yourself that you are loved and cared for no matter what the past looks like.

When you finally realize that the hurt and the disappointment was part of the plan all along and it was to lead you to a life of your wildest dreams.

You Get Out Of It Alive

And powerful. I get it. It is hard right now. You wonder if you get out alive, and that's the thing — you do. You get stronger, wiser, and powerful beyond measure.

You realize the immense power of your mind and heart. How you can shape your world. How your thoughts create your reality. How you can focus on a thing and have it manifest.

You realize you have the power to fix and get your life in order and in alignment with your soul’s purpose.

Darkness is real and so is the light. If you are going through a dark phase of your life, you are not alone. The darkness is leading you to a wonderful place.

There Will Be Light

At the end of the long, dark tunnel, you see a light — and you also see who you really are.

It will feel like a new set of eyes to truly see the world from a place of love. Yes, I say love because that will be the only thing that matters when it is all over.

I am powerful and so are you. You will see the power that comes from saying I am and that whatever you attach to I am is what you are and attract into your life.

I am harmony. I am gifted. I am responsible. I am vitality. I am divinity. I am alive. I am calm. I am divinely guided. I am awake. I am creative. I am beautiful. I am imagination. I am inspired. I am the universe. I am the master of my destiny.

“I am” is the fact of existence and knowing that gives you all the power. God is I am that I am. He is within you. You make your own destiny by the things you attach to I am — for that is what you really believe about yourself. Whatever you attach to I am, you become.

Every time you entertain the pain of fear or regret, you are reducing who you were made to be. Become aware of the power that lies dormant within you, for you are powerful beyond measure. There is a God within you.

You are not a failure. You are a warrior who is overcoming the pain and failures of the past. You are a warrior who is surviving the traumas of yesterday. I am strong. I am powerful. And so are you.

Now I want to hear from you. Have you yet realized how powerful you are? Let’s discuss this in the comments below. Thanks for reading.
