Before We See It
Paper Poetry Prompt #7: Wishful Dreaming

Before the stars align, When our dream is but a whisper, The universe works tirelessly, To put together a gift just for us.
Before our wish comes true, When our hope is but a spark, The cosmos puts out a signal, To create a perfect happenstance.
Before the dots connect, When our desire is but a speck, The gods and goddesses converge, To make a banquet fit for us.
Before our eyes can sense the splendor, When our wish is only a glimmer, The energy of whole worlds collide, To construct our dream.
I believe that once we put a dream out there, so many things happen behind the scenes. The magic of the universe begins to collide with our desires. Before we see it, our dreams are there in a different form. They are floating through the stars, and lighting up the sky.
Thank you so much Suntonu Bhadra for creating a place for our dreams in poetic form. Thank you to Melissa Bee for this dreamy prompt, for your editing work, and for your friendship! Much love to you & everyone here at Paper Poetry!
