Secondly, email your request to be added as a writer to [email protected], with the following features:

- If you are known on Medium by a pseudonym, alternate name, or a name that differs from that of your email account, please let us know. We require the name by which you are known on Medium, as this is the name that will allow us to search for you in our followers list.
- Next, please provide your Medium handle beginning with the ‘@’ symbol. For example @victorsarkin
- Next, provide your preferred email address.
And that’s it.
Please see below for a sample writer addition application email.

Final notes
We have the GiaB Prompted Writing Challenge, published every second Wednesday at 9:00am PST/ PDT, which provides a random topic prompt for our writers to challenge themselves with. The Editor’s Picks of those responses are also revealed and promoted additionally across Medium and social media every two weeks roughly. You can read about it here.
In case you haven’t done so, we strongly recommend subscribing to Bottled GiaB, GiaB’s newsletter. It is a rewarding way to keep in touch with the publication, and receive news about the writing and goings on at GiaB.

Lastly, we request that you follow GiaB on Twitter and Facebook. Please find the details in the footnote. Following us on social media, widens your access to the publication and helps us promote your work to the online community.
