Becoming a Lightworker
This is my most important job right now

I love to spread light. I have always loved spreading joy. I want to show people the possibility in their lives. I want them to know that they are amazing. I want them to know that they matter. I want them to know that they are whole and wonderful exactly as they are.
Right now I have 3 jobs. The first job is to write and spread positivity through my writing. The second job is to hold space for my clients and help them through clearing their spaces as a professional organizer. My third job is the most important one of all, to spread light and love to everyone I can connect with.
This is something I am discovering about myself more and more this year as I grow my writing practice, as I grow spiritually, as I grow personally and discover more facets of myself.
I can see that I can hold a special type of space for people. A special presence that goes across distance and time. This is new to me.
There are things that I learned about myself this year that have been life-changing. A wonderful teacher that I had the honor of working with this year on my human design chart told me that by my presence alone, I can help people. This is such a joy. I know that I cannot be physically present right now because of the lockdown occurring at this time, however, I can still reach out virtually to people through the amazing technology that we have and I can be present through my writing.
The light work is becoming the “why” of what I do in life and what I do in my business. As a professional organizer, so up until recently, I would go to people’s homes to work with them on decluttering and organizing their spaces.
I always believe that there is more to clutter than just things. There can be a broken heart there, there can be trauma, there can be painful memories. We can work on healing that together through our time working in the home.
I am discovering that I can be a light wherever I am, in whatever space or time. I can be a light listening to a friend who is struggling. I can be a light by sharing an article. I can be a light by leaving a positive comment. I can be a light by reading and sharing other writer’s work. I can be a light to my virtual clients in their homes at this time. I can be a light to friends as I check in on them. I can be a light to everyone that I can connect with.
How can you be a light to someone today? How can you hold space for others in their time of need?
With lots of love and light to all of you,
Trista
