Becoming a friend of Medium is arguably the best thing you can do.
I was reading through the well-written library of Medium.
When I kept stumbling upon posts about FOM (Friend of Medium).
They were talking about the benefits and drawbacks of upgrading to FOM.
So of course I couldn’t ignore this any longer.
This is Week #3 of Road 2 10k.
In this series, I share how I’m earning $10,000 on Medium in 2024.

While being a Medium Member costs $5/month (if paid yearly), becoming a Friend of Medium will set you back $15/month.

Stats Breakdown Week #3
This was an exciting week.
To visualize the changes throughout the weeks I decided to include a graph from now on.
I noticed that followers are growing linearly, while Reads and Views are growing exponentially.
This of course will need more data to be valuable information.
In Week #2 I had 138 Views and 68 Reads.
This week, I have 311 Views and 174 Reads.
That is an increase of +125.4% in Views and +155.9% in Reads.
My Read-to-View ratio went up.
Woohoo!
As mentioned before my audience is increasing linearly.
In Week #2 I had 110 Followers and 1 E-Mail Subscriber.
This week I have 163 Followers and 4 E-Mail Subscribers.
That is an increase of +48.2% in Followers and +300% in E-Mail Subs.
I expect the percentages to flatten out over time.
My earnings were $13.40 on Week #2.
This week my earnings are on a total of $29.91.
That is an increase of +123.2% in Earnings.
I’m happy with that.
